Manchester United target Marcus Thuram has received three contract offers ahead of the summer transfer window, according to L’Equipe.

The Borussia Monchengladbach winger will become a free agent at the end of the season when his contract expires.

He joined the Bundesliga side from French outfit Guingamp for around €9million in July 2019.

Thuram has made 133 appearances for Gladbach, scoring 44 goals and providing 29 assists.

It is not surprising to see a lot of interest in the French international with his contract coming to an end next month.

Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Arsenal have all been linked in recent months, though a move to the Premier League is not an absolute certainty.

According to L’Equipe (via Get French Football News), Thuram has offers on the table from a host of European clubs.

It is said that Thuram wants to compete for domestic trophies and the Champions League while playing as a central striker.

United desperately need a new No. 9 and are looking to sign players in several positions, so landing Thuram on a free could be very handy indeed.

As many as ‘ten clubs are interested’, though only three have made an official offer, with the prospective signing deemed to be ‘one of the coups of the summer’.

Two of the three clubs in question are Atletico Madrid and Inter.

The latter could be in the driving seat as they have offered the 25-year-old – who was born in Parma, while his father, Lillian, was playing there – a ‘long-term’ contract.

Other ‘potential destinations’ are Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Manchester United, and an ‘unnamed German side that has qualified for next season’s Champions League’.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has denied that Manchester United are in talks to sign PSG winger Neymar.

A recent report from L’Equipe said the Red Devils are in advanced talks to sign the Brazilian superstar.

However, Romano has said this is not the case. Writing on Twitter, the Italian journalist did confirm that PSG have previously discussed Neymar’s future ‘internally’.

Manchester United in advanced talks to sign Neymar? No, Ney, never…

He said: ‘No negotiations ongoing between Man United and PSG for Neymar Júnior, as of now. Nothing concrete, no talks… at least with current owners/board.

‘PSG already discussed Neymar’s exit internally, looking for a solution in the summer.’

Neymar joined the Parisiens from Barcelona for £198m in August 2017, which is still a world-record transfer.

His ridiculous wages will be a big concern for any clubs interested in signing him, with Newcastle United also being linked.
