Transfer gossip: PSG meet agents of £130m Man Utd target as new £44m name emerges

Victor Osimhen celebrates after scoring for Napoli against Juventus.

Manchester United face competition from PSG for Victor Osimhen while a France centre-half is a new target.

PSG MEETING MAN UTD TARGET AGENTS
We know Manchester United want Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. And we also now know that PSG are very, very keen on the Nigerian striker and that Luis Campos is meeting with his agents during this international break in an effort to convince them that his future could lie in France.

The obstacles? The price of over £130m, which is described as ‘a very high price for a PSG blocked by financial fair play’, the player’s desire to play in the Premier League and the fact that Manchester United ‘would be willing to pay’. It sounds like PSG are up against it.

DIS IS THE FUTURE FOR MAN UTD
Axel Disasi is the name in the frame for a centre-back who can also play right-back for Manchester United, according to Sportsmail. Disasi is one of roughly 427 excellent French defenders and is it seems Monaco are willing to sell this summer for around £44m, which has alerted United as well as PSG, Bayern Munich, Tottenham and West Ham. Somehow we don’t think United need to worry about the latter.

Disasi was at the World Cup with France and started at right-back in the 1-0 defeat to Tunisia when Didier Deschamps rested some of his first XI. He has spoken about an interest in playing in England, saying: “I like England, it is a very exciting league. We can say that it is my favourite league. Between Paris and the Premier League? The place where I can progress the most.”

GRAVENBERCH ‘UNDER CONSIDERATION’ FOR LIVERPOOL
Jose Enrique was the unlikely source of information that Ryan Gravenberch to Liverpool was basically in the bag. And now James Pearce of The Athletic has been asked about the story and said: ‘My information is that nothing is nailed on at this stage. Gravenberch will be one of many under consideration. Bellingham is clearly the priority.’

On Bellingham, Pearce said: ‘Bellingham is Liverpool’s top target, although as my colleague David Ornstein has revealed, it is by no means certain that they end up getting him given the other clubs interested in doing a deal.

‘In Liverpool’s favour is the fact he has a good relationship with Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Bellingham is considering his options and I’d expect the picture to be much clearer by the end of the season. Even if Liverpool get Bellingham, they will still need at least one other midfielder and Mount is a serious option if Chelsea look set to sell him this summer.’
