What happens to the Premier League clubs involved when managers swap sides mid-season?

Matthew Stead
Steve Bruce and Graham Potter

Graham Potter is the 11th manager to leave one Premier League club for another in the middle of a season. It does tend to benefit the poacher.

The following managers all left one club specifically to join another in the middle of a season. Those who were sacked by one team before rocking up at another months later do not count. Nor does anyone like Dean Smith, who just rebounded straight after getting sacked.

It makes for fairly positive reading for Chelsea’s new high school student.
